Nichols: Brent started a new job 2 weeks ago and it is going well
Vernetti: Jim passed his kidney stone/ Kim - all tests came back negative, cancer has not spread

Prayer:
Balch: friends Jim and Lisa Demastus, Jim's father has stomach cancer, not expected to live much longer
Buckner: Pam's dad PSA levels high, suspected prostate cancer, surgery Tuesday
Holt: starting school this week, has Dr's appointments this week, ear infection
Morris: Billy May had aortic surgery due to anuerism, unresponsive, fever
Vernetti: Kim has appt Monday, hoping to get surgery scheduled this week

Gregory: Celebrating 12 year anniversary today :)
Smith: Brother in law got married

We raised $75.00 for backpack for believers, which is more than enough for 2 backpacks, so we will either get an extra backpack or buy some supplies to donate to Somerville Road Elementary.

Prayer:
Chitwood: Joyce Mcgregor's niece born too early at 2.1lbs. Wasn't due until October.
Holt: unspoken
Morris: Chris working 10 days, off 2, then working 10 days again
Smith: Robert retaking driver test on Wednesday

Praise:
Butts: found Romanian baptist church where he was able to preach
Eubanks: Nicole's 31st birthday today
Kirkland: we raised enough money for Backpacks for Believers to get 6 backpacks with supplies
Smith: got class a driving lic, has several job opportunities; hydroplaned Wed, spun, wrecked in ditch, no problems other than a flat tire

Prayer Request:
Bound: Jeremy had emergency surgery this week
Butts: pray for support to return to Romania
Chitwood: Jennifer is traveling
Gregory: Alicia's parentslife long friend killed in 4 wheeler accident; travelling this week for family vacation
Kirkland: had 16 year old cat put to sleep
Vernetti: Kim diagnosed with breast cancer Thursday, goes to doctor Monday to discuss treatment options

Sunday School in HD

We are currently in 3rd place to win the HD Television for our classroom. So start bringing guests every Sunday!!! We have until August 15!!!! Each guest counts twice and new class members count once.

Backpacks for Believers

All classes have been asked to donate 2 new backpacks filled with supplies which the youth will be handing out at the Dream Center Kids Camp on July 23. We will be taking up an offering again next Sunday and Kim will purchase the backpacks and supplies to be delivered to the Upper Room by July 18. So far we have collected $30.

Praise:

Thank you Lord for our Salvation and for the freedoms we have as Americans! Happy Independence Day!

Bound: daughter, Kinsley, fell from 12 ft high dive, landed on her back and had no injuries except for a few minor scrapes
Morris: Elijah had no nosebleeds and didn't have to be cartherized
Smith: got an apartment; was allowed to move in without deposit, someone helped with utilities
